Lol That's the reason I didn't take Darrens bet and bet Brad instead. It would run Brad off probably for good and hurt Darrens ego even more. Now he will think about the bullet he dodged all off season. His pride will make him want to bet again next year. So I need to think of a good bet for next year.Since the Seahawks are in such a sad state of decline almost any bet is a safe one . Even a 8-8 season.

^^^ words to eat in the near future. Hey Brad er Jon, why don't you go bet Vegas on Seattle now? Go for it. We'll hold the fort down for ya in the interim.

Haha, you must have lost your mind if you think 8-8 is actually going to happen...what's the line in Vegas on the Hawks being better than 8-8 next year? (btw I have no idea who Brad is so means nothing to me...)

The idiot said they wouldn't be better than 8-8 this year too. Like usual he was wrong.

Last year, the experts also predicted Seattle would win this year's SB too. So much for that. Down in a ball of flames again.

True greatness lasts longer than one SB victory or it gets ruined by free agency/retirement. Seattle was a flash in the pan. Now they're on a black diamond run to the bottom of the hill.

Just visualize a flaming bandwagon going down a hill with passengers flailing and bailing on the way down. There you have it.

Like I told my family in Washington a couple years ago; you'll see Jesus in Seattle before you see another Lombardi trophy in Seattle.

You guys are still obsessed with Seattle. I love it. Will Santa Clara and Arlington have 8 wins combined next year? Did they even get that this season?

Ha! Can't wait til this time next year Marky...

Absolutely love Cams utter disintegration today. "Nobody's ever seen nothing like me" Hahahaha! Especially loved watching him back away from his own fumble... So classless he keeps his helmet on after the game trying to hide from the media. I swear, he and Kaperbitch are long lost brothers...

Congratulations Peyton Manning, Demarcus Ware,Von Miller and the rest of the Broncos. I guess Keep Grinding is a better slogan than Keep Pounding.

I did something today that I haven't done in years-for good reason. I went to a SB party with about 20 people. It SUCKED. It was at a super nice, huge house with killer food and drinks, but no one would shut up enough to let anyone even hear the game. So frustrating... I forgot how nice it is to be able to pause and rewind at will in front of my own 120" screen. Thankfully, I recorded it and I know what I'll be doing tomorrow. Glad Manning has the opportunity to bow out with grace and retire as a SB champ. I really thought this was the year where the best defense couldn't overcome a great offense. I was wrong. Glad I was wrong too. Have a good summer, guys. Try to stay dry, Seattle fans.

Looks like I missed some good smack talk on here. Congrats to the Ponies!! Cam showed his true colors in the end and will now start his path to Kaeperville.
Lynch retires as only he can, like a boss. Everyone get your popcorn ready for the Russell Wilson passing attack show!!

Can't wait for next year!! Tony is going to look great with that clipboard in his hand!! TONY ROMO!!!!!

Russell Wilson proved beyond a shadow of a doubt he can't handle the load without Marshawn. Choke after Choke when the pressure was on he came up short. When are you guys going to learn, Defense wins Championships. Along with a good ground game. With the leigon of boom now adapting to the leigon of room I don't see an upside for the Seahawks. Well Johnny Manziel will probably be available.

^^Well if a good defense and good ground game wins championships then I guess the Cowgirls won't be winning anytime soon. If fact, do they have a good anything?!?! LOL!! Wait! I know!! They always have a good 1st round draft pick!! Enjoy the off season Bobby.

Marshawn retired like a boss? He and his team lost and he only had like 20 yards in his last game. I'd say more like a baby. He might have even been negative yards in the first half.

^^Wasn't talking about his last game, that wasn't pretty. I just like how he sends out a picture of his cleats. He's not holding some big press conference trying to get attention, or doing a farewell season, or becoming a journeyman back and fading out. Am I biased on Lynch, of course, but you've got to respect how he played the game and how he didn't change for anyone. There will never be another Beast Mode.

just thought you would like to know that the MGM has the Hawks at 8-1 to win the SB next year (tied with patriots for best odds). Head of the sportsbook said even with Lynch retiring if they do change the line it won't go further than 10-1... so basically Vegas thinks 8-8 is just silly business too!

I have great respect for Marshawn Lynch. He saved all his NFL salary and lived off his endorsements and bonuses. He's set for life, shunned the media his way and will retire on top of his game. Whether or not he gets in the HOF I don't know. The judges are so fickle deserving players wait for years. I think Eddie Debartelo Jr. Didn't have to wait as long as Charles Haley. Eddie didn't play a single down and did nothing to improve the NFL. Unless gambling and getting into the HOF is an accomplishment. I bet Pete Rose wishes it was.

Unfortunately for Lynch the media decides who gets into the HOF. Had he played one or two more years and played the media game he'd be in, but like Sinatra, he did it his way!

Okay then. Let's back up. He performed poorly this whole season, was proven to be obsolete on his team and had to have surgery which he still hasn't recovered from. On top of that, he got shown the door by Rawls who will come back like a bull next year (if he can avoid more injuries). He also had to have a white, blonde girl speak for him in his one pepsi commercial since he only knows how to speak like a ghetto thug. Is that better? All hail Marshawn!

Honestly though, that guy could run through a brick wall. He frustrated a lot of defenses.

Oh yeah? Where did they have the chickens one year ago at this time? Or the Patriots for that matter? They also picked Carolina as SB champs last week too. Look!!!....... There went your points right out the dang window again!!! You've certainly made a good argument for people to start betting against them. I'm pretty sure Cliff must work for MGM.

Listen. If you really want to know Seattle's 2016 fate, talk to one of the smarter (non-bandwagon) people on this thread next October. Until then, have a nice summer, try to sneak in some sun up there in rain hell and remember; individual stats don't win championships. Neither does a team full of prima donnas who place themselves as individuals above the team, like most of the current Seahawks roster.

Bold prediction; Seattle will make the playoffs next year and go out in the first round thus continuing the downward spiral of decline. Sherman will play angry, to his demise, thanks to his failed, phony PR boosting attempt at Man of The Year. (which was rightfully won by a 49er)

PS I never said the chickens would go 8-8. That was Robert. I think they'll go 9-7 or 10-6 at best.

My cousin is still in denial . She's a Panthers fan. Much like the Seahawks fans she was very, very confident her team would crush Denver. I warned her to stop spouting off because they still have to play the game. I told her I agree Carolina has been on fire all year. I reminded her about the Patriots that were 18-0 and met the Giants. I tried to console her (rub it in),but she came up with excuse after excuse. It reminded me of Seahawks fans lol. After every Superbowl you have a Winner and a Whiner. She is in denial still she thinks the referee's favored Denver.Reminds me of Seattle fans complaining about their Superbowl with Pittsburgh. Lol When will fans realize I have thick skin and a sharp tounge. It's just a game to me. Then we discuss it afterwards. I love discussions.

We were pretty happy here in Denver! 2 years ago we were similar to Carolina, #1 offense that put up points with ease and then we met Seattle that had a complete team. I still wish PFM had thrown a few TD's instead of just relying on the D to keep them in the game. That game could have been ugly if Carolina had figured out how to outsmart the Defense even a little bit.

They are claiming 1 million people showed up at the celebration yesterday. I am a little skeptical of that number but hey, whatever, it was a LOT!

What's funny is I was in BC for the weekend and wore my Von Miller jersey on my way back to Spokane to fly home and was really expecting Seattle fans in the area to give me some crap but instead, they were saying that they liked the Broncos Wow, jumped the wagon that fast? j/k - they liked the fact that we took out Carolina.

Hahaha......gonna be along year Mark...... Better start working on the anti-Hawks drivel.

To be fair, I think the oddsmakers are wrong, the Niners might win 3 games.

Yikes! Fortunately, I won't have to work on anything that's anti-Hawks. They'll be doing it for me. Hey, doesn't this belong in the 2016 thread?

I thought it would be easier for you to find it in the older thread since Niners fans all like to live in the past anyway.
