sup surf kings. on my Sanger V230, the bilge thru hull is right below the rub rail on the starboard side. I ride goofy and things don't get fun until rub rail is right at the water line while underway. I almost never have to run my bilge pump, but I got some water in the bilge last time out, I'm assuming from backflow through my thru hull. are you guys moving your bilge outlet forward or to the other side? we very rarely have regular (left in front) riders so I thought a port side outlet might work. Or should I just check valve it?

check valve or a piece of duct tape

Check valve... that way it will still work when needed...

route the hose high if you have enough hose. Water would then have to enter through hull and defy gravity to get above the high part of the hose.

I relocated mine forward by the drivers side.. swapped and replumbed the bilge with the forward ballast system..
