2016 ronix bill vs previous models

I rode the banana (2014?) for a year and loved it was the fastest and most explosive board i have ever ridden. but it was my friends so its time to get my own. there is a good deal on a 2016 white and black bill but the description says it went to continuous rocker from the banana which was blended. anyone rode both? my wake is mostly on the smaller side so i am kinda hesitant to go full continuous if there is actually a difference. thanks in advance (Boats are a 86 supra sunsport/2003 SANTE

Daniel, The white and black bill is actually the 2015. It is the exact same as the banana bill (2013). As for the rocker lines, don't believe everything you read--even if it is directly from the MFG. They are both continuous and the exact same board. The only reason I could imagine that the 2013 is called blended would be that initially that was the plan and they finished the catalog before they finished developing the board.

The change in the bill came it 2016, but that was mostly construction. Board on the water they are the same.

Also, Don't overthink it. If you like the Bill, get the Bill. I can't tell you how many times a friend will ride one of my boards, love it and then turn around and buy something else and be disappointed. If you ride something and really like it, that is the board for you.

Thanks I made that mistake when I bought the ronix one and hated it from the first day haha. Now I'm hesitant to order a board without trying it first. It's kinda what I assumed as well they just have to make it look a little different year to year so people willl buy them .... thanks again I have looked everywhere for this answer

My cousin is on his 3rd Bill since he started riding in 08. He loves them. I like the One better but it's all personal. You can't really go wrong with any board modern day in my opinion.

Todd, I'm in the same boat. I have been riding the Bill shape since the redesign in 2013. Since then I have taken some fun spells on other Ronix boards, but I always find my way back home to the Bill. I'm riding a 2015 William right now. I am kinda thinking about putting one or two in reserve since 2017 is the last year for the shape... They say the Massi will be their super fast board to replace it, but I am old and change is scary.

I recently made the switch to Slingshot, but I wouldn't recommend one for someone still learning the basics. All brands have good boards these days so it's really just pick a brand and graphic you like. I've rode a lot of boards in the past from LF, Ronix, Hyperlite, and now Slingshot and I can't say I've rode one I didn't really like. They all have their perks.
