It is absolutely amazing that an average day on the lake for us can be be somebody else's best day of their life! But that is exactly what happens when we share what we love with others that have never experienced this lifestyle. How blessed are we?
When we (8 families) started Wake the World in 2008, we thought we were doing something great for the kids, but what we soon realized is that we were getting as much are more out of it as they were! It is hard to believe that in just a few years it has grown to include more than 400 wakeboard boats and nearly 40 events across the country. Most of the boat owners say that it is the best single day they spend on their boat all year.
Thanks to all of you that are part of the Wake the World family that helped make this grow! Without a doubt, boat owners are some of the most generous, fun loving, encouraging people on the planet!

Thank You Greg for the courage to step up and start one in Oregon, Back in 2011 as I responded to a video about WTW Texas, and then contacted Greg about starting one up, I remember hanging up the phone, staring at my computer and saying to myself... " What did I just get Myself into" Well it's 2016 I'm on my 5th event and because I decided to act in faith and not fear, We will now have a total of 6 Events serving Foster kids all over Oregon.....Wow I get goose bumps just thinking about it, What if I just sat there looked at the WTW Texas video and went on to the next FB post.... Look what we all would have missed out on! I have never been more proud then to serve along side all of our Wake the World family!
