which board?

I have only wakeboarded a few times and i am looking into buying my first board. I'm looking at two different boards, the obrien vixen with nova bindings or the liquid force diva 138. does anybody have any experience with either of these boards and which one do you think would better for a beginning rider?

thanks for the help.. im only about 5'5" or 5'6" though.. do you think the 138 would be to big or is doesn't the size really make that big of a difference?

how much do you weigh? that along with the height is important in deciding.

look in to the State or angle boards. Both are good plus you will never out grow it.

Im like 5'4 and 120 lbs and i ride a 134 .

I'm 5'5", 130lbs, been riding about 6 years and I have been riding a 136 but am finding it too long. I will be switching to a 132-134 this year (as soon as I pick a board). I think the 138 would be way too long. I had a post under the wakeboard for cont. rocker or 3 stage the guys were quite helpful. Check it out

Diva is a good board....also look into the Hyperlite Motive. They make a 134 and it is such a great all around board. It will last you several years of learning.
