I’ve had mine on for one full season and it still looks great. Paid 1300 to have it done by a gtechniq accredited dealer. I got the crystal serum light with 2 layers of the exo coating. Like someone said previously the cost came from having to buff out imperfections in the gelcoat before applying the coating. I do notice that the hydrophobic ability of it is greater in areas that are not in constant contact with water. I spray the gtechniq quick detailer when I wipe the boat down after each outing and it looks freshly waxed. Waterspots will show on a ceramic coating if you don’t use something to prevent it. The quick detailer is for that purpose as well. Some people have said any like grime will just spray off with the coating. I have found that to be not true. You still have to wipe some stuff off. Even from day one. But with very little effort it’s back to a wax shine with just a microfiber cloth. For reference I have a mastercraft x25. Black and red.
These photos are shortly after it was done.
This is after 4 months of summer use about 4 days a week.
