Don't have any good pics of the wake, but here's a video () from when we had our 2nd generation X-Star. 2004 with the 8.1L, full stock plus 2-440lb bags in the rear lockers, 1-540 in the center, plus anywhere between 2 and 6 people in the boat in the various clips. Wake is suuuuper smooth, still my second favorite to this day (first favorite wake is the 3rd gen X-Star, which is what we have now). Nice, long transition, with consistent pop that's very predictable and controllable, and gives you plenty of hangtime. Nowhere close to the shape of a G21, it's got a lot more of an abrupt transition with massive uncontrollable kick at the lip. Won't get that with the X-Star, even when you nose down the front a bit and get a little lip out of it. Wake shape is somewhat similar to the A22, but the Axis doesn't have the size-to-weight ratio that the X-Star does (took a hell of a lot more weight in the Axis to get a decent wake, and it was still small to me). The '04-'12 X-Star's are definitely capable of the wake you're looking for, especially when you load it down right. The plumbed Pro Series ballast throws a super sick wake that I'd love to ride again someday. Good luck!
