My head unit keeps crapping out I wanna bypass it. As of now it's tied in th the hu. I should be able to run the piwer remote and ground direct and totally bypass it correct?

Yes, but you will no longer have a remote turn-on circuit coming from the HU to trigger 'On' the EQ and amplifiers. You can replace this feature with a switch. Other than that, the EQ constant B+ and ground will go to the same supplies as the amplifiers distribution.

Ya just clipped the remote the hu and ran it to my harnesses remote. $$$$ the hu always the weak link in my system. Not any more.
