My recently installed port side rear jabsco ballast puppy fills when I push the 3 way toggle into fill position and it also fills when I push it into empty position. Any thoughts on why this is happening. The starboard side one works perfect. The only difference is that the intake hose is on the right of the starboard pump and on the left of the port pump. Would this cause any issue or are we looking at a purely wiring issue. I double checked all connections when I installed so that both pumps matched, and am stumped at how it can fill in both positions, and not empty at all...unless I reverse the wires at the pump then it empties in both positions.

I'd check the wiring

Here is the diagram I used, another option for you.

Thank you. Going to check my connections again on that switch. Wondering if I didn't accidentally connect 1 to 3 and 4 to 6 on that switch and if that would make it fill in both the up and down position because polarity would not reverse with it like that...

If you purchased the Jabsco Ballast Puppy, Id gather they also included the pre-wired switch.

Red = B+
Yellow = B-
Black and orange go to the switch.

If the direction of the pump is not correct, just flip the switch 180*, then reorient the labeled actuator, then pop the switch back into the bezel.

They sent the switches with, but I didn't use them because I wanted the switches to match the factory ones in my Sanger. Essentially the same configuration on the back, but no 7th pin for the lamp. This switch requires that you cross from 3 to 4 and 1 to 6, and now I am second guessing if I did that correctly on this particular switch. It leads me to believe it would act just as it does if 1 and 3 and 4 and 6 are connected. Will check that first and check to make sure they sent me two of the same switches.
