Our friends have a Soulcraft that got broke in half today. I know boards can be repaired for some things, but not for a complete break in the middle, right? I'd be shocked if it can, but I figured I'd rule it out first.

**Not sure which model it is, other than it's a tri-fin swallow tail and it's yellow on top.**

Also, I should add that the stringer was cracked.

Call Jeff he will make it right if it was a defect. How did the board get broke??

Definitely not a defect. One guy surfing, one guy jumped from boat to tackle him. Landed on board. Snap. Guy that jumped wants to make it right and will pay for either repair or new board, whichever it may be. Just a couple of 35+ people clowning around.

Looks done!! call Jeff he is a good guy and might give you a repeat customer price on a new one. The stringer is the back bone of a board once its done so is the board

Oh man... Hate to admit it but I've done that once before and never even thought about the potential of snapping a board. Guess I'll never try that again... Sure was funny at the time though.

Use some glue and glue the foam back together and hang it up on the wall!

^^^ Good idea. Or you can just barely fix it and have one of your friends ride it. When it breaks again, you can tell them they owe you a new board just to mess with them. Make sure to get it on video so you can have some laughs later.

Technically, it can be fixed. It may or may not ride the same... the goal is to strengthen the area, but not completely change the flexural characteristics. This is pretty hard, but doable. If you would like you send it to me and I can fix it or you can turn it into a chair....

+1 for the wall art! Take those fins off and keep them in the boat as extra.
