I know this has been covered multiple times before, but my search abilities are not very good. I know Perfect Pass runs around $1200 just for the parts, but what is the average going rate for installation? I'm fairly mecahnical, is this a job I can do myself easily enough? This would potentially be for a 2004 Malibu 23 LSV.

Do it yourself. It's fairly easy and takes around 3-4 hours to install.

DIY. PP has great customer service if you have any problems. The hardest part is working up the courage to drill a hole in the bottom of your boat. You shouldn't have to do this since you probably already have a paddlewheel
