We have been having fun Dialing in the new RZX over the winter, and have pretty much got it dialed. Just a few more things to tweak.

Compared to previous boats, this beast is a combination of monstrous displacement and an amazing hull that has an incredibly well shaped wake an amazing transition. We are working on a new video and I use some drone footage and you can really see how the front end just plows the water out and helps create that smooth transition. The wake is huge, but it should be, because we are displacing approx 11.5k lbs. The boat is 6k dry. Add tower speakers, gear, you are at least at 6500. We have 2 500 lb bags in the corners and 200 lbs of lead in the bow. So that is 3k stock plus 1200. Add 1000 for people and incidentals, that is over 11.5k lbs. And yet, with the SC 575 motor, I can get a rider up front a stand still and to a full formed wake ready to rock in 12 seconds, at 12MPH for the speed. It will also plane if I empty the P&P bags, so full ballast and people plus 200 lbs up front, just no PNP bags, and it planes to 24MPH in 25 seconds.

And the cost? We are averaging just over 7GPH when we surf, with just regular 87 unleaded. 7GPH with all that motor?! Just too much fun. Here is a sneak peak of some screenshots of video. We mostly use 91 octane, but also tested with 87. 91 octane gives it a bit more efficiency and you can feel some power boost, but not so noticeable.

These videos are from my iPhone 6s and a Phantom 3 drone with 94 deg FOV, so its not the super wide GoPro look, more like what your eyeball really sees.

That last picture shows why I love Lake Oroville, especially on a weekday. You see any other boats?

Its a Soulcraft, I think it was based on a Yetti and then Allison made it her own, and I believe Soulcraft will be releasing this board under her name.

I have yet to see a better, more stylish bottom turn from another surfer. It is definitely her signature trick.
