I am looking for some solid coaching for my 11 year old son. Hopefully someone that would be in it for long term. Not looking for beginner, looking for instruction to help him progress quicker up to intermediate. My boat or theirs.

Anyone you have experience with, that you would recommend or not recommend.

Thanks in advance.

No clue how close this is to you, but Pat is a great instructor and on the Wakeboarding Hall of Fame.

+1 for Pat M. Great guy with tons of knowledge and a sweet setup. He's a little South of Austin if I remember correctly

Thanks for the suggestion Jason and Luke. I may consider Pat, but it is a bit further than I would like.

Check out lake lessons... I've spent a lot of time with Greg and he is awesome.

Greg Lawrence at Lake Lessons has his own boat or will coach on yours. He's located on Lake Austin and was on the tour when he was younger. He will do a fine job and is great with kids progressing.

Maybe hit up JB ONeill, I know he lives in Austin. He may be easier to get one on one?

Thanks guys, those look like another couple of great suggestions. I never thought about hitting up JB. I wonder if he does coaching.

Glad you said something. FB didn't notify me, had to dig to find the message in the filters.
