Hey all,
I have been in Maui for a while and an amazing good time. I love my new boat and it is great for the family but l think I have found a new love. Kite surfing in Maui is the best. Riding and jumping those waves is a complete rush. It's always a challenge too as there are elements in the ocean that I imagine one may never master. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves wakeboarding and hasn't tried kite surfing in the ocean.

Kite beach is frigging epic. Last time I actually went kiting was there, and it was double overhead on the outside, and I was LIT up on a 7.5 meter bow kite. Normally I ride a 12 meter!

You'll come back around
Kiting was my life for a while but I find it lacks the flow from trick to trick that wakeboarding offers and you're always guaranteed to get it with wake. Not to mention that kiting is absolutely flooded with middle aged dorks ( I'm 40 so I can say that ).

It's the same sport
but not having to pay for gas sounds incredible.

A whole less expensive than having to buy a 50,000 dollar boat and all that gas!
