Wondering who can help, I have an 09 Xstar and found this thread the other day that shows a great wave on an 08 Xstar so have bought the materials to make a similar tab but looking at the photos I'm a bit confused, I made an assumption the tab would go on the side you will surf. I ride regular therefore though the tab would go on the passenger side ie the side I ride on but looking at these pics especially of the two guys riding you can see them both riding frontside regular and the surf tab mounted on the drivers side of the boat - obviously its working but is that how the tabs work, you mount them the opposite side to the one you are riding??
