I want to ask you guys who ride or have ridden a few boards made by these companies that which board is fastest within each line of the brands. Which CWB board so you guys think is fastest within CWB, which LF board is fastest within LF, and the same for Ronix. Im not concerned about pop or soft landings or anything like that. Just wanna know which board is the fastest in each of those brands. If any of you have ridden a large assortment of all those brands then lets hear your opinions! Just tryin to get some feedback, thanks guys!

I would say the Lyman, Axis or S4 were the fastest from what I got out of them but since the Lyman and the Axis are gone.. I would say the S4

The Vibe is for sure not CWB's fastest board.

The Covin was the fastest in the Ronix line, but it has been replaced by the Viva. I have a Covin, but I have never ridden a Viva so I can't speak for that board.

Lyman is a rocket ship, buy an 08, 09, or 10, they are almost identical.

Jeez I feel like those other dudes who mentioned CWB have never ridden a CWB.... I have ridden every CWB in the line and speed is VERY important to me...
Fastest- DB9 (Faction shape with bamboo core) hand down no questions asked
Fast- Transcend and Marius are both very fast, but the Marius is so wide that it takes some time to fully transition to that super fast edge. Transcend is very responsive
Medium- Kink and Vibe
Slow- Absolute

Thanks for the opinions so far guys! If i went with a lyman, i weight 185, would a 139 be alright for me you think?

"the transcend would be the fastest board in the cwb range for sure "

No way. I ride the Transcend, and have for years. I rate the speed as medium / slow. I can't ride fast boards.

The fastest CWB board is the Faction / DB9 shape. Remove the standard fins and replace them with a shorter version off of the Marius, and the board is a rocket.

I think the Vibe is pretty fast actually.

LF trip is the fastest in the LF lineup. Faster than the lyman.

I have not ridden the lyman, but I have ridden the LF Trip and S4, and I thought the S4 seemed a little quicker than the trip.

Obviously continuous boards are faster than 3 stage. I'd say the Marius is pretty darn fast, and the Faction a close second. As for Ronix, Ive ridden the Ibex and the Mana, the Ibex is super fast. But unlike the Marius or any continuous, it doesnt have a slower transition. It bites hard and friggin goes. I found it somewhat hard to control. My .02.

Cwb Fastest Faction and DB9 for sure.

I don't think the Transcend is very fast either. It is a nice board with good pop but it is not the fastest. My OLD 2001 Hyperlite project is way faster than my 2009 Transcend.

Agreed.... I love the Transcend, but the Faction/DB9 shape is the fastest (and my current ride). The Marius is fast also, but not my choice. Absolute is the slowest. All others are somewhere in between.
