I am curious to hear peoples opinion of these ACME 2315 & 2419 props after running them for awhile and how close they are to the hull, if there is prop burn in the gelcoat or not. Are they the most aggressive around?

How close can you safely get to the underside of the boat without problems? Is under 2 inches from the hull to close?

I have the ACME 1235 now on my 23 LSV and want more hole shot. I want to add weight but have to dump weight now with to many people.

Also..... they say the OJ Cinco is on par with the 1235 but is more efficient..... Anyone have experience?

I have the acme 2419 on my LSV and love it. Haven't had any problem with prop burn. I have the ls3 and my top speed is 40mph. When I had the 1235 my top speed was around 44-45.

I have a 2313 with 7/16 of an inch clearance. Has been the most amazing prop ever!

I have the 2315 prop on my 21 tomcat for about 20 hours. I have the 409 pcm.

I have 1/2 inch clearance and there are no signs of prop burn.

I use to have the 1433 prop. Top speed has gone from 43mph to 36mph.

With the 2315 I can plane out quickly with 4000lbs ballast. Around 10 seconds

Use a 2079 if your worries about prop burn.

Tood & Jake, that quells my concerns about the clearance issues. Thank you. Not that it is a requirement by any means but I am just curious if anyone noticed these props being more efficient running slightly less weight due to getting out of the hole quicker. Obviously they won't be efficient running across the water to your spot or cruising.

Any experience with the OJ Cinco prop in this regard?

Cinco will not work unless you have upgraded motor. I'm running one on my Raptor 400
