Hi All,

Happy New Year! Ive been going to different cable parks and each one has a different tension in the cable. The rope length is slightly different too. In your opinion what is better, loose cable longer rope or higher cable and shorter rope? I thinking in terms of safety too. Thanks in advance.

i wouldnt say either is safer.

the rope length depends on how far the dock is placed from motor tower.

lower cable with long rope has hard landings but is super easy to handlepass

high cable with short rope is easy for doubleflips but hard to handlepss and softer landings.

but a high cable with medium to longer ropes is pretty awesome! my favorite for sure.

i also like when the rails are placed closer to the cable rather than out super wide.
