they look sweet! i think they will compete well with other boats in their class.also the service 360 program and the 5 year warranty will help.

Yeah Robert Tige is really stepping up again this year. They have really been on a roll the last couple and this year it just keeps rolling.

i have $5 that says i could sprain the shiat out of my ankle boarding that boat from the bow and slipping in the recessed cup holder before i ever strapped a board on. maybe i am just clumsy...

as for the notched aft seating, the 06-09 CC 220 and the 07 CC 210 were crucified for that design. while i dont think it is a big deal (i own a 220), there are others that wont be able to make the leap because it is so "unorthodox"....

overall i like the look, especially the understated entry level model, and i love the retention of the center mounted guages in addition to the offset touch screen...

KEVIN are you as impressed with tige's agressive marketing approach as i am. also they had a 8% market share increase this year.thats during a recession.while others are losing market share have tons of old inventory and are recovering from near bankrupcy.i think i may end up updating my tige in the near future.have to do ALL my research first.

Overall I think I like them. They seem to have a lot of room in them and the bow interior looks bigger than the X2 or VTX. That white and orange one's lines kind of remind me of a 1974 fiberform trihull though. I don't really like the way the rear bench isn't straight across. Nautique tried this approach in the newer SAN210 and they changed it within a year or 2.

I am Robert they have really come along way in the last few years. I love my older Tige and really can see getting rid of it. But they keep tempting me. They really listen to owners both current and potential. They also are all ears if their dealer comes up with some idea that will help out. They are doing things right over at Tige and it shows.

I love these boats but agree they do kind of look 70s trihull to me.

What are prices like?
Do both 20 fters have the same hull?

Can't wait to see the wake.

They both have the same Hull but they changed the Name of one so that the value of one doesn’t affect the other for resale.

I think they look great.

Under the Bow cushion is a cooler. (bow ballast lol)

In the entry level model (R20) the bow cusion is an option you can get it with or with out the cooler.

I really want to know that the factory ballast is but then again most put more in anyways.

man, there are some sick boats coming to the market these days. I like the graphics and it looks like when they are removed it will be a gel design that looks good for years.

I think they look great. Good to see another pickle fork in the 20ft range.

I like them a lot for the most part but I did notice a few things I don't like:

1.) Still don't like the graphics very much but I'm sure that can be changed
2.) Despise the rear bench being split up
3.) Hate the sun pads, they look small and cut up and the pads should run all the way to the seats without gel coat inbetween
4.) I definitely wouldn't call them a pickle fork and at first blush I don't care for the nose.

Love the red tower, looks beautiful.

Hate I'm with you tige are nice boats but I don't care for this one at all it has a pickle shape up front without the benefit of the squared off bow hate the cup holders in the middle of the bow, don't like how the seating is broke up,don't care for the walk thru transom and the beam seams a little narrow I'm sure it is a solid performer but this one would not be on my list if shopping for a sub 21' boat .seems like wake world has turned into one big tige sales pitch lately

I am not stoked on the new graphics as well but damn that is a nice ride. I am becoming a huge Tige fan. I feel like they are in an awesome place with the other boat manufacturers. IMO, they are going to grow rather quickly in the next couple years.

i love these boats but i would appreciate it if everyone would stop posting pictures of these amazing 2011 boats cause im still stuck with a 2005 tige

So will the price tags. Re-inventing your product and trying to be on par quality wise with your competition isn't cheap.

^^^ but they should be competitive.the boat buying public will make their choice then and lets face it looks go a loooong way.and their competition needs to get with the program to have comparable warranty and service plans like the 360 service.

I really really dig those graphics, behind Supra it's one of the best looking boats out there imo. I don't like the sunpad though, haven't really liked the way the upholstery is done there or the way it's designed since they created the RZ line.

pic #3 is deceiving... looks bigger than it actually is. not a fan of the notched seating on the R20 but everything else is awesome. i really like the graphics and would prefer pic 1 & 2 over 3... just my opinion.

i really like the interiors and the room up front with the pickle fork .i like the fact you can choose your own colors interior and exterior as well as graphics. ballast packages and tower options.360 service plan 5 year tip to tail warranty. the list goes on this boat will be very, very competitive with other boats in it's class.

love the way the storage seat opens. lots o room!
strange profile on that all white boat, looks odd. maybe the wild graphics have been hiding the hull profile or is it a all new shape?
Old     (cwb4me)      Join Date: Apr 2010       08-12-2010, 7:15 PM Reply
cory i assume you are refering to the white w/orange stripe . thats the new r20 the other 2 boats are the rzr. they have the same hull but the r20 is the entry level no frills boat.
