Sun fading wakeboard. Any tips to restore it?

Hi guys!
I decide to give my board to my little brother for his birthday.
It's a white Ronix one. I clean it normally and wax it every off season. I never realize my board turned yellow that much cause of the 5years sun exposure until I move my bindings.
Anyone had that kind of problem or know a product I can use to restore my white board without removing the clear (anything not too strong that can scrap my board)

Pretty sure that's gone. Same as a car's paint fading over the years.

Yeah that's what I'm about to do. Treat it like a old car paint that faded: polish it and give a brand new sealant.
Just wondered if some product was easier !

And Jason.. it's one of my old boards. Like I said it's to give to my little brother, I know he love it and I know he would be happy to have it.

Now I'm riding with the 2016 byerly Arii.

My Parks Camber did this after just one year of use. Big let down, so I'm pretty interested in your results Mike.

Why not just buy a new one if it bugs you? That thing is like 5 years old. And it's a ronix so the core is probably shot anyways

And who cares? It's a wakeboard.

Try and join the vintage snowboard trader group on facebook. Those guys used a particular hair product (I cannot remember what) to restore the look on some vintage boards, but you could only apply it to the white areas of the board, put plastic wrap on it, and let it sit in the sun. It would discolor anything else, so you had to be careful with it.

I agree with the "time for a new board" people. If you rode that thing with any frequency the core is probably mush and the pop lost a lot of its snap. Hang it on the wall and get him a freshy! When I was riding foam core boards they had a life span of about a month of hard riding before it snapped or the core was shot.

Yea foam boards should be replaced at least every season if you have a normal 3-4 day a week riding in the summer.

Wood boards maybe every other.
