Looks very cool! Coachella Valley? I see it's near the Salton Sea, does that mean the water will have a very high salt content? I have also heard bad stories of how contaminated the Salton Sea is from agriculture run off.

the water at Sunset Ranch is NOTHING like the salton sea. I had a small family reunion at Sunset Ranch Oasis a few years back. shallow ski lake, but we all had a blast. I can see how this would be a great place for a cable park, among other things. there is a big house there that sleeps up to like 30 people as well. would make for a great bachelor party/cable adventure weekend. the only problem is, it gets like Africa hot there. I went over memorial day, and it was around a 100 for 4 straight days. imagine that place in the regular summer months! either way, it is a great thing for california and the entire west coast. more cables please!!

Looks sick anyone hear when they are scheduled to open looks like a huge project they going to open one thing at a time or are they planning to finish the whole project before they open?

Not to do any parade raining, but like all development projects (especially in So.Cal.) there are a lot of bumps, curves and delays in the road between grand plans and opening. Example, see Santee Cable Park. That said, I hope they get it done.

Poser, we'll do a road trip. Ride the cable for a couple days and then head out to our house at Havasu.

Anyone else heard about the 2.0 system in Vail Lake?
