Has everyone noticed LEE DANIELS (hyperlite)'s excessive use of this term?

I just find the spelling of his name interesting: Daneils. is it supposed to be ei, or ie?

It's the sure fire way to jack your post count up when you have nothing creative or constructive to say!! Which for our friend Lee, is a lot of the time. Go get your WW beer coozies Lee, you earned em!!!

he also likes saying things like, "that's not what I heard." and then never elaborates....

hmmmm...
Old     (ttrigo)      Join Date: Dec 2004       10-26-2010, 4:51 PM Reply
usually when people say things like that, they really know as much as everyone else. which is generally nothing. I am sure there are dozens if not more people like this on WW, who act as if they have inside info, which in turn makes them seem like an industry insider. as if that means anything in a small industry like this. it impresses no one.
I really am curious as to the spelling of his name though.

Haha. It's funny how many ppl notice. I think me and several others have mentioned this in other threads. Now it has it's own thread. Hahahaha

Thank you for someone else bringing this up. I noticed this at the beginning of summer but didn't want to call him out then. My anger built up over the summer.

I check WW when I am up at the crack of down, usually around 5am west coast time. There is always about 7-8 consecutive threads that Lee has posted on with hmmmm, lol, interesting, etc. The posts are always between 4:30am and 5am west coast time. Since there are no other loonies up at that time with me no else has posted. So I get to sort through those threads and read each of the non-sense posts. Im sure he will read this thread tomorrow morning and post.....interesting.

Now... the big question would have to be... what's going to be the next ambiguous, non-thought provoking onomatopoeia that begins to plague the WW forum? "Hmmmmm...." is clearly yesterday's..... perhaps a "Harumph!" or "Ummm"? Or dare we make "Bump" a post useable in something OTHER than a BoatBun thread?? You be the judge.

Since you guys brought it up, Lee PM'd me about a listing I had for a board trade. We exchanged a few PMs, then he told me he'd get me pics of the potential trade, and it never happened. Something fishy with this cat.

Sam,

We're harumphing about an individual who seems to just go through thread by thread and adds a short, useless contribution such as "hmmm" or "lol" to undoubtedly boost his WW point count. More than once have I logged on and seen the top 4-5 threads all commented on by this individual all these subsequent posts didn't contain more than 3 words a piece. Mostly they were just "hmmm"'s. Lame.
Old     (seth)      Join Date: Sep 2002       10-27-2010, 10:38 AM Reply
What if Lee is a she?? What if he is not even real?? Maybe someone has set up a program to log onto WW and post 5 comments early in the AM that arent even words to one day soon claim that elusive WW coozie, so that when "they" are seen enjoying a frosty beverage sans cold hand out of said coozie, men will want to be him, women will want to be with him, and animals will want to learn how to talk so they could hang out with him. (well only of course if they trimmed there claws cause a grizzly on the upholestery would not be that cool)

Why in the world would someone want to boost their WW point count?
Old     (benjaminp)      Join Date: Nov 2008       10-27-2010, 11:15 AM Reply
There's a points store, the more you post the more points you get, you can buy stuff, but I thought I remembered reading something about how the posts have to be legit, like helpful or add to the thread. But whatever.
Old     (hawkeye7708)      Join Date: Feb 2007       10-27-2010, 11:16 AM Reply
I'm assuming to try to get free stuff from the WW point store.

What if LEE is really the most interesting man in the world and he needs a coozie to keep that dos equis cold. And every time he types hmmmmmmm. He's thoughtfully rubbing that beard while staring pensively off into the distance.

Clayton,

Stay thirsty my wake loving friend. haha

Dave, If I was Lee, I'd probably read this thread, sit back in my chair and let out a pensive, thoughtful "hmmmmmm...." while I assessed the situation.

Awesome. Someone needs to Photoshop a dos equis ad clip with WW coozies all over LEE's ( the most interesting man in the world) table on every drink. I'd do it but I don't have the software or the skills

No I don't have to look up reasons I was just trying to remember all the ones I've seen lately. Checking to see which of the posts actually added to the thread they where in because I know I've seen some posts from lee that contained information.

i think it's a ego thing. not many people post at the same time as him. then after he gets his morning HMMMMMM. going. he gets to enjoy the fruits of his labor while everyone else that has a life is sleeping. he sits in front of his computer and sees his name all over the screen adding his 2 cents to every subject out there. then if someone checks his profile they will see he has a billion posts.LOL

I personally think his posts are thought provoking. "Hmmmm" is so vague and can represent so many different emotions. Is he thinking, is he interested, is he being sarcastic, is he patronizing you. It is like he is writing an entire paragraph with such little effort...or maybe he just thinks he is tweeting lol
Old     (ttrigo)      Join Date: Dec 2004       10-29-2010, 10:05 AM Reply
he is probably pretending he has not seen the post yet. he will wait a couple more days, then just post something like "LOL" or something lame like that.

It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?

It's a neighborly day in this beautywood,
A neighborly day for a beauty,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?

I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?

Won't you please,
Won't you please,
Please won't you be my neighbor?

yeah it seems that there's never any real thought put into the entry, so it does seem that he's just tryin' to jack up his points count by posting one word replies to threads, and no elaborations to anything else. well at least he got a koozie out of it. few more posts like that and he'll have 'nuff koozies to go around at a 4 person party. Jeremy, loved the you tube video addition, laughed the whole time.
