she is not really into the graphics.. so I told her Id get her a new board, something more girly.. black pink whites light blues.. but she keeps saying she loves the way the board rides and its pefect for her.... Her Bday is coming up and I was thinking I can do a little makeover on her board, I bought her some CWB bliss hingetechs and the questions is, whats the best way to give the board a girlie makeover?

Paint? my brother runs a body shop and said they can paint it no problem.. will the paint make the board heavier? has anyone had their boards painted?

Wrap? has anyone done this? how much? where did you get it done at?

Any other suggestions?

One of the guys on here had a thread going about a board wrap. It looked great! I'll see if I can find it. If not, someone should have the link to it. I would say a wrap would be the best and easiest way to go. And it would be 1 of a kind!

nah i dont think paint would make that much of a weight diff. if your bro can paint it no problem then i say do that.. thats what i would do.

Same here, if your bro can paint it for you it will be way cheaper than having a wrap done.

You could probably get a more interesting graphic design with a wrap. More durable than paint also.

Shon G at Off Axis Board Shop does board wraps. They're really sick. You can lay your graphics out any way you want. I think we're going to get a few boards wrapped next year.

His shop is up in Auburn. Isaac, you could probably ship it up there and have it back in a few days.

Paint works, too, but unless you do a really good prep job it'll scratch off the board really easily.

The wraps are sick but if your bro has a body shop then he'll have access to candy and pearl paints. You could make something which is quite unique with some creativity and masking tape. Its just a thought. I'm sure she'll love whatever you come up with.

Make sure you post on here for you friends on WW to see.
