which boot for my son for next season?

Looking at either the One polar flash or the frank boot. Going to pair it up with a Brad Smeele gold code 21. He'll be 10 next season.

Ones are pretty stiff and the franks a bit more flexible. The people I know who like their franks like the fact that they feel very secure around the achilles/ankle. I believe there is a decent built in j-pad.

The code is a pretty aggressive 3-stage. Are kids boards normally a bit more mellow? I'm not familiar, but I'd like to know for future reference.

He road the vision 3 stage rocker last yr and this yr he road the El Von Videl which has a blended rocker.. He has been rocking open toe as he couldnt fit into a boat before. Next yr he should be fine with a boot style 6-7 size.
