Hey guys, quick question for the Bu guys. I was working on my buddies Bu helping get it ready for the season and the alternator was at the top of the list. Its a 2000 Wakesetter with a 350 Indmar The problem I ran into is the upper bolt that also serves as the tensioner. I cannot get it to come out of the alt. housing. It turns with a wrench, the rear bolt and lock washer are removed, is there a trick I'm missing here or should the bolt just pull out? I've soaked with PB blaster with no luck. I'm not sure what else to try except to cut the bolt off so I can pull the alt. out of the bracket. And I've tried to hit the bolt free with a hammer with no luck. Any ideas?
