actually you would be surprised... 3 1/2 ft. gator could still prolly take your leg off. and at 3 1/2 feet, its not a baby anymore so it knws how to fend for its self.

Alligators wont mess with you. We see them all the time, and they just run away when they hear your boat coming.

A 3-4 ft alligator is NOT going to take your leg off, unless you are a pigmy with leprosy .
However an alligator will grow about a foot a year for the first 5 or 6 years and about 5-6 inches every year after that. Then he may have a shot at a adult human leg.
A 3 footer will still bite the sheeooot out of you, and make short work of any small dog or animal.
Great size to throw in somebodys pool or fenced in back yard as a prank though.

I don't think that finding a gator in my pool would be funny. Maybe I don't have a very good sense of humor but my reaction would invovle a gun and some new aligator boots.

Dont forget, alligators taste good as well.
We did that prank several times in High School. We even did it to the principal. The only thing that can go wrong is if the person lets their dog out to pee in the morning. Chomp,Chomp.
