Here is some hopefully helpful information. I live on the river and own a 1997 Boss 210. Fortunately, I have my own dock and we are able to ride often. Obviously, the boat does not compare to the newer dedicated wakeboard boats. However, I have never had a problem with the wake and the boat itself is very well built with lots of room (including a huge rear storage that you can weight down). I am not sure what is meant by "double wake and spray pockets" but if we can throw tantrums on the unweighted wake you should not have any problems riding behind it. It is a great boat for a 1997 boat. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Everyone who rides behind my brothers '98 B-52, which I think is a Boss 210 hull, has never complained about the wake. It's a very nice boat, and can be weighted to put out a very nice wake.
Redsovine is refering to the later model b52's I belive pre 03. They had a rather large spray pockets which gave the way a double lip feel. The b52's spray pockets does not apply to the boss 210 model.
I have a 95 Boss 210 and I was hesitant at first because I was not familiar with the name like bu or mc, etc. I can honestly say I could not be happier with the build quality of the boat. Like already stated, it has a lot of room for a competition ski boat which can be used for weight. Mine has the PCM GT-40 and it is super smooth and powerful.
