How much should it cost to powder coat a tower?

I'm hoping to get the tower on my '08 Moomba Outback powdercoated this winter, just curious what some of you have paid to have this done?

To get it blasted and then coated about $400 here for black. Others colors cost extra. There is a huge difference in pricing even in my area though. So check around

Oh wow, thats much less than I was thinking; cool!

I just want to make sure I don't get rocked when I'm shopping around. If 3 places told me $1g I'd think that was normal and probably pay it, lol.

I had mine done black at the first of the season and I paid 175 that included the sandblasting and powder coat. Thats here in tn

Thats right - in VA it is about 200 also.

I would say sub 200 including blasting for stock colors.

I did powdercoating. I have shot several towers. We did them for 150 to 250 depending what was involved. Thats including blasting. Different colors cost more than others. Gloss Black will be the cheapest, and most other normal colors will only be a little bit more. I would probably unscrew the heim joints on your tower, if it has them. If you want those powdercoated make sure you tell them to tape off the actual joint. They should know to do that though. They should plug all the threaded holes as well or else you will be taping them back out forever.
