How does the GPS do in turns? Does it still hold or not as good as when it goes straight?

Thanks, looking to get a new CC210 this weekend

I've got the stargazer from PerfectPass. It's really nice through turns. Smooth and constant speed entering and ending the turn. It's also really good in rough water. I'm sure that Zero Off would be very good. The GPS is nice if you don't lose satellite signal, but there are many more satellites than there are for satellite radio so it's not common to do that.

I have driven the CC210 with Zero Off and it works great both straight and in turns. Nothing negative to say about accuracy, you do have to adjust speed setting to account for currents, but it works great in general.

Art, there really is no comparison of GPS satellite vs sat. radio. I doubt you would ever lose a GPS signal on the boat riding on a open lake. (Tons more satellites to look at)

Also, I have stargazer and it will hold through a turn but I do a very tight turns and it always requires manual throttle advancement. Then you have to pull back coming out of the turn. Other than that, perfect.

How does the CC210 compare to your current boat?

Its def. more money but I think its the better boat for me since all I do is wakeboard. I really like the seating on it with the aft facing seats. I havent been to crazy about the Tige Speed Set the whole time it seems really hard to engage when I get a lot of weight in the boat.

I own an '08 210 with zero off. I have been very pleased with the performance and accuracy of the zero off, both straight away as well as during the turns. Bought the boat back in March. Love it.

Bill, I have lost signal but I'm in a mountain lake and fairly far north. I had to reposition the puck a couple of times to find the best pickup.

I see how you do a fellow Tige owner

How much weight are you running on top of the factory ballast? You may just need a prop change!

usually running about 1000 + people over factory....we normally have about 4-5 people in the boat and a rider, so I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of about 1700-1800 lbs on top of the stock 8. Boat still takes off fairly well....I had it sacked down really good last weekend and honestly I think its got the best wake of all the models

May be worth swapping props, give ACME a call and see which one they rec. I'm sure High Rock would let you have it at cost, if not, let me know.

Ironic...... We had an 08 210 and had over 3000 on top of factory and it was one of the worst wakes i have ever riden. CC really dropped the ball on this boat if you ask me. I have heard other people talk it up and others talk it down.... But personaly one of the worst wakes i have ever ridden.

I have not boarded behind it, but I did try to surf it. Found it kinda tough, it needed a ton more ballast then the Z1 (surfable with 0)

Love the Zero Off, in my 08 210 once the cruise kicks in it is solid. Pretty much +- 3tenths is the most I've seen it change through rough water, dubs, chop whatever you throw at it. Last year had the 236 which is a killer wake, but I and the crew I ride with love the 210 wake. Most of my crew are 03,05 210 owners.
