Yeah last I read was the article on WW about getting the cable components in and putting it all together. I was wondering if anyone knows of the date they will open.

ive ridden at the fort myers park. i dont think it's open to the public yet, but should be very shortly. i was there 2 months ago and everything was set, the place looked ready for action. the park is amazing, its certainly the best in florida for air tricks. its higher and tighter than orlando and the lake is the perfect size. should be some awesome obstacles coming soon

I'm looking forward to checking out the Ft Myers park. That's where I'm originally from and my family still lives there.

I was there in June watching the cables/towers be set. They need to fill the lake and of course add the slider/obstacles but it is all but ready. The Fort Myers park is cool as sweet as well. Hard to imagine that was 5 years in the making but love the incline rail for the skate :-)

By the way, I am moving to Tampa in a month. Are there a lot of places and people to ride with? Where should I go to meet some people?

Matt,When the Tampa park opens, that would be the place to go. Very clickish in Tampa, getting pulls is like pulling teeth!

Hey Matt, put up a post when you get down. I just bought a '85 SN 2001. I'm setting it up right now for riding. If it would stop raining, I could lay the carpet and get the beast done. I'm going to be riding Lake Tarpon, which is big, but there is usually a calm spot to ride on weeknights and very early on the weekends.
