I know this has been asked before but I cant find the thread. I bought my first boat 97 Sanger V-210 and I want to change all fluids. What do you guys recommend? I'm putting Mobil 1 in the engine. I am leaning towards synthetic oil for all fluids.

1. Mobil 1 engine oil 15w50
2. V-Drive oil?
3. Transmission oil?

1. Shell Rotella synthetic 5W-40 or shell rotella 15W-40. Both cheap and good
2. You will only be able to find one 30W non-detergent oil at the parts store and they may have to pull it out of the pack, so if that is what your v-drive takes, use it. It doesn't get a lot of heavy use, so type is not that critical.
3. Valvoline Dex-Merc

I like to use straight 40w oil. Multi-visc oil is great for starting engines when temperatures are low. I never take my boat out when it's freezing, it's always above 60F.
