Hey guys, been a long time since I posted on here. Anyways my girl and I are looking to move from Michigan towards the mountains at the end of the year and we've been trying to do some research as far as finding a good location to hit, something we can trip to and scope out over the summer. We're pretty much moving for our love of exploring, mountains, snowboarding, snowmobiling, rock climbing, mountain biking etc. and we're originally looking in the Colorado area but it doesn't look like there's much in the ways of lakes and a Wakeboarding scene there. So we've been zoning our sights in on northern utah. And since wakeboarding/snowboarding are my two biggest draws, I figured you guys would be a good group to hear advice from.
So, my questions are, how's the wakeboarding scene there? And what lakes are the best to hit? Also, we're looking for a little city life, as far as jobs and just not looking for just a ski town, but we would like to be as close to the resorts as possible (hour or less). Can anyone recommend some cities for us to check out that would fit that criteria? And give us your thoughts and opinions on the people there? We've been browsing around and researching things around Midvale? We're both personal trainers also, so any thoughts on the health and fitness scene would be appreciated, although we're both looking to have our businesses running online by the time we get there.
Anyways, if you guys made it through my ramblings then thanks for any input you have.
