Finally the weather is going to break this weekend. You know it's gnarly when every single road in and out of Tahoe is closed, which they were tuesday night. It started up again at 3:00am this morning and is supposed to keep dumping all day. I don't think 10' of fresh is out of the realm of possibility for Friday morning. Hopefully there will be some left for me on Saturday and Sunday. Just picked up a basically new Burton T6 and I can't wait to unleash it!

So glad to hear Cali is finally getting some weather. You guys need it! But there were even resorts that had to close in colorado from all of this snow! Finally a winter that lived up to the expectations. I hope you get out there and enjoy it!

Kirkwood had to close. Most of the front chairs will be open tomorrow though. The back side might open by Saturday. They got over 6'. I'm just glad this past warm storm didn't melt all the snow and flood the valley like back in 1997. That sucked.

^^^No doubt. '97 was gnarly. The City of Reno was way more prepared this time around. Flooding was minor.

Heavenly got 12'. Pretty much everyone is still digging out. I think I heard 6th wettest January in recorded history already with more to come. They are telling everyone to keep their sandbags handy for the next storm next week.

I was just up in Steamboat last week, they got over 5' that week alone, it was insane. I heard Mammoth got pounded too.

Mt. Rose was money this morning. I had the most epic powder run of my life I think. Was at the rope when they opened the slide side and got top to bottom untracked.
