Was wondering about that new Slingshot "shape." Interesting. Wonder what the marketing angle will be. Cable butter board? Looks somewhat cantankerous from those picks, but time will tell. Looks like the binders on the board WMJ is holding are white. Space boots?

sick! if you check out Tony I.'s Instagram stories from time to time you can see sneak peeks of the 2020 reverb graphic. Looks like a light blue bottom w/ white top. They're finally getting away from red/gray look.

Ronix gear looks great. I like the supreme bindings with the power strap. Wish the boat one had the intuition liner like the walkable liner version though.

Haha... Looks like I need to talk to our web guy to get more product loaded onto the site ... We'll be live around Expo, but there is a chance that a few things will leak before then.

Saw a slight glimpse of Murray's next year gear in his most recent youtube video. Excited, because my 2017 Murray is ready for a replacement.

Does anyone know what the new Ronix Pro S.O.L.E. is or what the new Flex Form heel and toe is? Is it that much more noticeable than the 2019 year RXT or One boots? I noticed that the RXT went from a mesh-like material on the 2019 to more of a rubber outer on the 2020. Thoughts?

That's an interesting call out on the RXT. I ride the 2018s and a big part of the reason I bought them is they dry easier due to the mesh. That would take away that perk.

Hey Guys, The materials used in the 2020 RXT are similar to the 2018/19 versions but feature an improved design with an all new liner & Pro S.O.L.E. More perks added for 2020!

What’s different about the new liner and what exactly is the Pro S.O.L.E.?

The liner is constructed with a 1-piece 3D molded tongue and new geometry to better fit the anatomical position of your foot when riding.

The Pro S.O.L.E. is a newly developed material compound used in the footbed for more cushion and response. The Pro also features new footbed 3D shape to match the athletic contours in the bottom of your foot to improve the fit and comfort of the boot. Everyone who has tried the new Pro S.O.L.E. in the 2020 One and RXT has felt a significant improvement in the overall feel. Hope this helps!

Does anyone know the story of why they stopped with the shredtown? Is the crew done riding at a pro level or are they just done with their pro model? Curious as it seemed their gear sold well over the years.

Seems like the Shredtown crew has all been doing their own non-wake thing. Nothing new coming out from them from what I see. Dont know if its just time off or a more permanent change in paths.

Is it just me or has Hyperlite taken a lot of their system boots off their line?

Hyperlite has simplified their line for 2020 as far as system goes. They made 3 distinct boots for different styles. The Relapse is their lower cuff boot with more flex. The Distortion is their high cuff that is stiffer. The Gooey boot is just that, a really basic cushiony gooey boot.

I've been wondering about that too. I know they have a normal boot with a walkable liner now as well. I personally love the system for cable purposes.

Hey Guys! Any feedback on the LF Flex Track system so far over the past couple of years? I've read a lot about the track systems sliding out for other brands although I've been reading LF material saying that they've added grooves to keep the track in position and prevent sliding. Anyone have any positive/neutral/negative feedback on them? Thanks!

Have had a '18 RDX with Flextrack for the last 2 seasons. An absolute b!tch to mount the bindings (might have gotten easier with improvements made over the last 2 years, dunno) but once they're put they're PUT. Zero lift, zero movement, zero issues.
Old     (Dissociative)      Join Date: Nov 2013       01-05-2020, 9:22 PM Reply
Thanks for the response tripsw. Yeah, it'll be my first time owning a track system and it does look like it's more tricky to mount, compared to just aligning some screws!
Old     (tripsw)      Join Date: May 2006       01-06-2020, 2:26 PM Reply
Welcome! Good luck mounting them I'm positive you'll love it though. Enjoy!

came on here as id noticed hyperlites range for systems is way down including the removal of the boa boot which i always enjoyed.

any reccomendations for a good boot. the ronix ones look good, but pricing is a tad rediculous now days. id rather spend the money on gas.

Anyone ride the new One shape. How does it compare to the shape from the last couple years? Noticeable difference?
