the guys at wakelv.com put together a camping trip over easter weekend. Jon got a little inspiration the night before & this is what he came up with... sorry not alot of riding shots, i spent most of my time filming. there was about 10 cameras out there though so hopefully someone will post some pics.
beach start slider
there were a couple other smaller sliders thanx to jeremy, brian & mountain of muscle.
a few random pics... lake mead does get butta every once in a while
It definitely was a great weekend for sure. We had a great turn out but definitely could of had more if a flu bug wasnt going around. There will be another one this summer and a few other things that we have in the works but nothing final.
We will post some pics up when we finally get them all together. Definitely want to thank everyone that came out, everyone that came out and helped with the sliders and even SkiWi for letting us use their jetskis.
the saw horses were great. easy to install, very stable, very versatile. Jeremy even set up a small A frame with them a few weeks back. BTW thanx 4 the luv on the pics. a short video of the trip should be done in a couple weeks.
heres some pics of one being set up on a shallow area just off shore. nice & low for a confidence builder for 1st timers.
Jerry, Jonny, Gary ~~ Nice job guy's on promoting the sport and bringing another aspect to other than wake riding. If it wasn't Easter weekend the wife and I would have made it. We hope to make it out to the next beach bash for the weekend.
Jeremy ~~ What's up, where are all the pictures of your killing it on the sliders?
Thanks for everyone who showed up for us to put the event on.. we will be doing a few more this summer for sure...insane time and cant wait for the next www.WakeLV.com event its going to be awesome.
Josh -- I did try to hit the small rails with the little amount of riding I got in on the last day and even got the front of the board to clip and go end over end... took a nice chunk out (time for a new one!! YES!)
