Hey Looking at getting some of these - what is y'alls feedback on them.

They are super comfy and amazing when you ride. I've been riding these for about a month now, and my only real issue with them is the laces. They sometimes come unlocked when I ride (but what bindings don't have that issue), and also the top left hole that the laces run through on the lower part of my right binding tore completely off. Oh... and if you've looked at the pictures of them you'll see straps on the lower part of each of the bindings, but in actuality, the bindings have no velcro straps whatsoever. But overall, these bindings are really comfortable, soft, and enjoyable to ride despite the minor defects.

I too am looking at these bindings and was wondering what size shoe you wear to what size boot you have? Do they run wider or bigger etc...

I'm a shoe size 11, and my bindings are also size 11. I'd say that these bindings are pretty true to foot size. My previous pair of bindings were the '08 Murray's, which even though I loved the bindings, I had to crank them down pretty tight to avoid jamming my toes. The Team bindings however are essentially the '08 Murray's with 2010 technology. By that I mean I really don't have to tighten them very much on my feet, and I have yet to jam a toe in them. If you have a shop that sells them near you, I would probably try them on before you buy just in case.

Well a 10.5 shoe is closer to a 10 as I just bought a size 11 and they are too big. Selling if you are interested.

No - I'm also a 10.5 and have a 10 on the way. Other than that do you like them?

I got a pair of the teams and I love them! especially now with the 6 inch plate there is minimal heel/toe lift.

I'm ordering mine tomorrow, based on feedback above if I'm a 9-9.5 shoe, I should get the 9?

That is what I would recommend.

why are they shown with velcro if there isnt any?

It was a company decision to eliminate the straps, but the pair I have actually has them if you are interested. I personally think it was very stupid to take them off as the boot looks very 2nd hand without it. They don't really do much, but at least there isn't two holes in the binding with nothing to go through it.

I won a pair in the Shaun Murray Giveaway a while back and mine have the two velcro straps on them. I wear a size 12 shoe and have the 12-13 bindings. They are just a little loose on me for sizing.

I am pretty sure you can order the 8" plate for these bindings as the mounts are the same as 2009.

the lace system blows on the new teams.....they dont stay tight for long.

I've heard it's the velcro that tears not the lacing. But I've had no issues with mine

Yep, my lace eyelets pulled out the second time I tightened up the bindings...took them back for another brand. I want to support Hyperlite, but I can't stand not having bindings/boards after stuff breaks in the middle of the summer.

One of my lace eyelets also tore out relatively easily, and also recently my top left black plastic lace-lock just stopped locking altogether. Really lace issues are the only problems I've had with these bindings, but still... it gets pretty annoying

its always the small stuff. i can deal with major stuff breaking a lot easier than little stuff

Hey Jason, I just got the 2010 teams today and I am also a sz. 11... I have never had closed toed before and when I put these on my toes were right up against the front of the boot. Should I stick with these? Or should I get 12/13?
Old     (jason95gt)      Join Date: May 2006       02-10-2011, 1:28 PM Reply
Keep in mind that the first time you put them on is the tightest they will be and once they get wet they will stretch a little. If your toe is crammed and curling over then go to the next size otherwise I would stick with them as you don't want much room inside the boot.

Thanks a lot man I'm gonna stick with the 11's.....can't wait to try em out this summer
