Tige 24v for sale, low hours, minor gel scuffs on bottom

Apparently she was stuck for about 20 hours before the water came up enough to float her off

Wow, how did that happen? Was it submerged when they hit it? I guess if it was it would have been easy to get off of it? Let me guess, 12 of his closest friends sitting in the bow obscuring the view? I smell a lawsuit...

Here's a link to the thread on riverdavesplace.com. FYI the owner's being a good sport about it lol

Apparently it was barely submerged but the tracking fins got wedged between rocks while the water was quickly dropping. I'm sure there's a lawsuit in there somewhere

Glad he is being a good sport. That sucks. I'm surprised it doesn't happen at my lake more often. There are tons of those types of obstructions on it.

Sounds like no one was hurt...so that is really all that matters in the long run.

Wow, what lake or what type of lake has water that fluxuates that much and that fast?

Anywhere with tides. I ride a tidal river that swings about 6' every few hours. Very different water at high and low tide. Sounds like this was on a dammed river out west. They probably use it for hydroelectric and adjust the flow throughout the day to meet demand, causing different water depths.

While they are repairing the hull, hopefully they can make that Tige drive decent and smooth out the wake where it doesn't look like its been repeatedly beaten by 2x4's and baseball bats. Doubt it though.

Correct, the Parker strip is a 12mi +/- stretch of the Colorado River just South of Havasu. The boat was stuck on appropriately named 'Idiot Rock' which is just below the dam where the water level fluctuations are extreme. Further downriver that would only be about a 6" change.

6' swing? That's crazy!

I've been going to parker for 15 years and have never seen that rock. Where is it located?

bhyatt,
Sounds like you clearly have an axe to grind. My last 2 boats have not even been Tiges, but I have to give an honest opinion. The TIge drives every bit as well as my X45 and Malibu 247. Handles chop better than my 247, in fact.

As far as the funky little chops the wake puts out, they are purely cosmetic, and you cannot even feel them. Here is a better picture of what he is referring to. His pic is a bit too small to see:

This one is not a tige, but notice that in the landing zone it has the very same funky chop. Maybe it would be smooth if I were on a 45 foot rope. THis is a Malibu 23LSV.

And just for kicks, here is an X45.

Pretty sure it's a little bit up-river from Buckskin. Usually just above/below the surface and pretty easy to spot by the churning water.
