All,
I have a 2006 Supra 24v and want to upgrade the ballast system for surfing. I am completely happy with the stock ballast for wakeboarding but just can not get enough out of the boat to surf.
I am looking at the Straightline big bag 800# for $109 each or the Fly HIgh 1100# for $189 each.
Is there enough advantage with the Fly High to offset the additional $160 for the bags?

300lbs is a pretty big weight diff. I have 1100's in the rear lockers and the 1150 front bag in my XLV and could use more (maybe a 450 on the surf side)

Fly high bags are also much thicker material than the straightline bags, although, I've never heard of anyone having issues with straightline bags tearing or anything.

I have the 800 in my 06 supra 24v and with three people on the surf side its great, but with only two people in the boat its just not enough. I would go head and get the 1100 if I were you. I'm going to have to do something else I think, But last time out I did realize if you empty the front bag about half way it seem to let the boat drop the back corner alittle better.

Thanks, I went ahead and ordered two of the 1100# bags, that way I can use the 400# stock bags as additional weight up front.
