I know Grant will appreciate this one. I sold my Centurion this year; being we had our son in June, our local lake was all about dried up by July, and the right buyer came along, it made sense. This deal came up at auction, and it was too good to pass up. I'm still on the hunt for an 05-08 VLX, but this should provide plenty of summer memories to come. In my opinion, a pontoon + wakeboard boat is the ultimate setup! We have friends with a VLX on our lake, so this will be perfect as a "floating island". Its an 06 Bennington 2275RL with 4.3L I/O.

The reason it was at auction was it was rear ended in traffic and damaged the outdrive. No transom or any other damage. Worst case a rebuilt unit is $2k, but I believe it is just the housing. So far, we are in it about 7 grand so cant complain. Planning the stereo and LED setup now

I'm not sure how quickly you're looking to buy a VLX, but I'm trying to sell my 2008 VLX. I have it posted up in the classifieds if you're interested.

Sounds like you got a smoking deal on that Bennington though!

I'm sure you could make your own custom swim deck. I see you have the ligit swim ladder. Most of the benningtons with that ladder couldn't have a swim deck. So u could remove that ladder and order a factory swim deck or build your own deck.

But congratulations your gonna love having a toon and a wakeboard boat.
