You article literally just explained exactly what I said. The Sergent of Arms works for pelosi. he let her know he declined the national guard. Ultimately she is responsible as she is in charge of that office. Your article is trying to get cute the technically pelosi was not asked. you and they are playing semantics. She was in charge. They discussion was raised to the office in which she is in charge and they chose NOT to have the national guard there. End of story.
