As many of you know, I sold my previous VLX in order to upgrade to Surf Gate. It’s been a long wait, but my new 2013 Malibu Wakesetter VLX arrived today at Active Water Sports.

Lots of work to do before she comes home:

• Get 18" XD Badlands put on trailer (wrong wheels sent from factory)
• Install Plug-n-Play sacks (750lb. Straight Line Sumo Sacks in each rear locker)
• Install cooler hinge & shock (see cushion pic below, courtesy of Fman)
• Install hot tube in place of side cup holder (see hot tube pic below, courtesy of Fman)
• Install full Exile system (in-boats, sub, and tower)
• Tint windshield with 20% (still unsure on this)

Here are the teaser pics I got. I’ll post more when it’s done.

These pics show some of the interior mods I'm having AWS do for me (pics courtesy of Fman)

That is a sick looking boat. Those sparkles are so subtle until it hits the light just right.

Exactly. You can always make more kids. That is the fun part.

Congrats on your VLX. Great looking color scheme... I'll keep my eye out on the Willamette for ya!

BTW, I think the tint would look great.

I got a chance to go down and see the new VLX in person yesterday. Super stoked on the silver flake, red accents (inside and out), black floor, and dark gray vinyl.

Yeah, my wife still likes to slalom on occasion. I'm sick of it taking up room below the seats, so I'm going to see if the rack is a better solution.

Guess I have not been on WW enough to see this. Nice work. Looks great. Hope to see it out on the water.

I guess I missed this too! Very nicely done! Those badlands always look good on a trailer, good choice. I wonder if I could pull off the hinge and strut modification to the cooler seat on my Mastercraft? I'm definately stealing your hot tube idea for the cupholder location.
