Trying to figure out what new board I want for the 2017 season to ride cable. Currently I'm on a Ronix Spaceblanket AirCore and actually love it on the cable a lot but I just find it a little slow at times.

So now it's a toss up between

Liquid Force Butterstick

Slingshot Windsor

Ronix Kinetik

Only company who's board I have never rode before is Slingshot. Anybody had a chance to try out any of these 3 boards to offer some input?

Windsor.

Rode this shape for years boat and cable. 0 complaints.

Slides well, tracks well, buttery, borderline indestructible

It depends who you need and like the most. If you preffer jibbing more I would go butterstick for sure! Slides well, flexy, catch free on rails and so on. Kinetic is pretty diverse this year. Flexbox 1 basically has soft mid section so its kinda tricky with that. Flexbox 2 is pretty straight forward stiff mid soft nose and tail, in my opinion ronix doesnt have the durability needed for real cable riders. The windsor is kinda cool and decent for both airtricks and features. If u rode the space blanket which is a boat board so Ill guess any of those 3 will be good for you when u switch to cable specific board

Thanks for the info! My order of choice was LF Butterstick, Slingshot Windsor and Ronix last. I'm just wondering if that Butterstick will suffer off kickers? I see guys like Tom and Felix ride it and kill it but then again they can make anything look good.

So now it's narrowed down between LF and SS. Guys I have some deciding to do. I think SS might have a slight advantage with it seeming to be an good all around cable board

For me basically SS hurt the most, but then again its new LF model so It is hard to know what effect it will have after all season. If u go 148 size I think it wont hurt anything because it will just not get the hard impact. I heard the new LF bindings gets kinda soft feeling. But its your choice to make. I think u cant go wrong on these boards.
