Yes, if you swap out for the normal 750 bags you see on fatsac.com, you have to remove the storage trays. I just went and measured my compartment today because I am thinking about custom ordering sacks, and want to keep the trays. The bag I am going to have quoted is:
L = 60
W = 17
H = 17
That is going to fit in there pretty tight, and may swell a bit and push on the bottom of the tray, so first few times filling it up I will fill with the hatch open and drain what I need to, in order to prevent cracking the trays. I need to go measure one more time, I only had a few minutes and rushed to measure an awkward space, and make sure the vent hose will be fine
That will take the 400 pound bags up to about 625 pounds. Just an FYI, doing the math on the fly high sacs today, the "750lb" is actually more like 720lbs, maybe it swells to 750, or they filled it with water from the dead sea. But 20x20x50 is only enough cubic space for 720 lbs of water.
A friend of mine has 550's that fit fine, don't know the dimensions though.
