Need to add more ballast to my 2012 V215 now that I am addicted to surfing. The Wakemakers tank buster is 750lbs. Newer V215’s have 1100lb sacs From factor and the hull is the same. Any aftermarket options that fit, or and i going to have to go with 750 and lead ?

I say go with some lead. you may get a few more pounds out of the 1100 sac, but they will start bowing your divider walls. also, sacs are stupid expensive to not get the full effect of upgrading.

cheap lead bags:
go to Home depot. buy 10 or 15 canvas zip bags.
go to tire shop. ask them if they sell old tire weights. if no, find a shop that does.
weights -> canvas bags -> boat.

Sounds good denverd1. Defiantly going to get some lead. Will probably stick with the 750 lb bags I have on backorder. Putting my new (Acme 1433) prop on next week which should be better since I boat at a 6k elevation lake.

Re: Lead bags - depends on your budget. The Leadwake bags are very nicely made and you wont have shot getting rusted or the bag split and leak rusty shot all over.
