I make them.
I have changed jobs recently (lost use of a CNC machine on the weekends) and sold out of them for a while.
I have had quite a few people contact me about wanting a pair and I am currently looking into the possibility of (temporarily) outsourcing the machine work so that I can get a few sets back in stock.

Shoot me an email... corson (no space) piper (at) aol (dot) com and I'll let you know as soon as I have more available.
Once I have some in stock they will be posted in the classifieds section here as well.

I have Piper's racks on my boat and they are the best racks made for carrying surfboards. I don't have to worry about dinging my rails on wakeboard type racks.
Buy Piper racks and save your rails!

Just wanted everyone to know, We (Agenda Surf) are working with Corson to sell his racks in complete kits via www.agendasurf.com....We could use some info on which clamp size(s) to carry in stock. I know towers vary slightly, so those of you that have installed Corson's racks let me know what size DIY clamp you picked up. It's help us with making sure we order the popular size.

Glad to hear this. Friend of mine has these on his boat,,very nice. Cudos to Corson on a fine idea, product ect.... Should work out well for u guys at agendasurf.
I have a Illusion X tower and with young grandkids we have the bimini up all the time otherwise, I would have these on my tower. Heck,,I've even tried to figure out a way to mount them at an angle on the side of the tower.

I agree with Brian. i have the same tower set up. I would like to get a couple of these racks. I don't want to lose head room by installing it under the bimini. Still thinking how to install them

I am excited at the possibility of being able to offer "one stop shopping" for my racks through Agenda Surf.
In the meantime, if you don't mind buying your clamps and pads separately, I have quite a few racks ready to ship out.
Drop me a line if you are interested.

...on another note. I have found that I no longer use my Bimini as I typically have three or four boards on my boat. A couple boards on my tower provides a good amount of cover in the cockpit. Just food for thought.

DIY Wake really burned me in a bad way on my tower mounts. I received four clamps that were to large and that were scuffed. The customer service was nil so I issued a paypal dispute. With a few of my photos, poorly written e-mails from DIY Wake and some info off their web site I won the dispute. I ended up buying new clamps from Bulletlines. I told them of my issues with DIY Wake and the sent me clamps with rubber inserts that worked out awesome. No problems with Bulletlines and I would recommend using clamps with the rubber inserts. I have had no problems with my racks or good quality clamps. I went with a local surf shop for my pads so I could support local business and represent.

Sorry to hear that Reese... I have heard/experienced nothing but good things about their customer service until now. I have also used the clamps with rubber grommets in them in the past and they worked well.
The good news is that my racks may be available soon through Agenda as a complete kit... This means no more sourcing rack components from three different places. One stop shopping!!!

I have a question for you on these. How would they work on an Axis tower which has only a single 3" bar? Would I need to get a 3" Clamp and then fabricate some sort of flat metal bracket to mount the rack to?
Old     (piper907)      Join Date: Dec 2011       10-31-2014, 12:50 PM Reply
If you can get a 3" board rack clamp (that mounts with 4 socket head cap screws) then you will have no problem mounting with a single clamp.
I had a customer use single 3" speaker clamps (single bolt in the center) but he had to drill a small hole in the clamp and the rack and install a 1/4" dowel pin to keep the rack from spinning since it was only being held by one bolt. Does that answer your question?

I just got a pair off of Corson (he makes them and Agenda sells them). You can get some off of him.

I'm setting mine up today -although still waiting on the tower clamps- and it's looking really good so far. Will post pictures next week.

I got a new Sanger and the bimini is over the tower so I flipped the racks like some others did in this thread. Bought the straps from Dakine (12 foot length) and it works awesome.

I bought 2 racks off Corson earlier in the summer, and just got them installed about a week ago. I had some trouble at first finding clamps that would work with my tower, but ended up solving the issue with clamps that have a rubber insert. Recommend asking specifically for the rubber inserts when buying from DIYwake.

These racks have been the best upgrade I have done on my boat in a long time. They work gret with my boards, I don't worry about them at all, and they're quick to strap in/off. Very highly recommended.

The board racks look like if you have a surf board on them then it would interfere with the tow rope while wakeboarding. Anyone experience an issue with that? Maybe its just the way it looks. I have been debating on this versus the side racks.
Old     (piper907)      Join Date: Dec 2011       01-21-2016, 6:54 AM Reply
Hey RM,
This was one of the very first things I tested when I began making these racks. I have not personally had a problem, or heard of customers having any issues with this. Obviously it will be a function of where you mount the racks on your tower. The further from center and more forward the less chance you will have for interference. I have not had any problems towing wake boarders with boards in my racks.

I have not had any problem with a wakeboard rope while towing. I did mount mine as forward as I could towards the bow.
Old     (DuckHuntin1)      Join Date: Jul 2013       01-27-2016, 2:17 PM Reply
I do not have a problem with my racks either.

However the rope does hit my longboard (9'er) and has not damaged the board, only rubbed off the wax.

The rope does not hit my shortboards or wakeboards.

best racks ever.
