I purchased a slingshot choice 137 brand new and closed toe bindings only spent about $277. I have not yet rode the board i was told by many that it would be a lot different then other boards i have had/ ridden. I had 137 trip liquid force that's whats i learned on and for the better part of the summer i had been riding a liquid force flx 138 i was just wondering if this is true, will it be that much different. I am a beginner to intermediate that's why i chose this board. I wanted to try the flex out. Any advice for a new slingshot rider would be appreciated.let me know your thoughts guys.

The best advice I can give you is make sure you take care of the board. The bottom doesn't have a grind base so it shows marks easily. Give it hell and have fun. It is the board I am currently riding.

The landings is where the money is at. I am sure the pop off the wake suffers a little but with good form it won't be noticeable.
