Alright, I think I am ready for my first handle pass invert. From what I have read, everyone says to try the tootsie roll. Should I place more weight on my front or rear foot? Also, any other advice would be appreciated.

i actually keep my feet level just like a frontroll. the only difference is you throw your head down and away from the boat(backside) and pull on the handle to get slack to pass the handle.

If you focus on pop, tug, handle pass(which is really all you have to be able to do well) the line will pull you right back around. Like Taylor said. Move your head. Also maybe first try to take it wake to wake so there isn't a ton of line tension.
