yep, gave justin a bunch of links, i can give them to you as well if you would like them. Just email me at lfrider92@gmail.com . we used my winch a good 4 or 5 times in salt water before we painted it. So now I sanded all the rust off and painted it. Its in my back yard right now. Im going to either put it together tonight, or tomorrow after noon, ill post pictures of it done if your looking for ideas. Just let me know.

http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_21285_21285 ---one. you will have to cut this to length-axle

these are the links to pretty much all of the parts you will need to build a winch. you will have to buy the steel for the frame, the nuts and bolts, and key stock. I cant find where i bought my key stock. but it came in 1 1/4 inch pieces and you need a total of 3 so i bought 6. they are very cheap.
The links above are the cheapest is was able to find all of these parts. and all of them had quick shipping, i had no problems with any of these companies or parts. One thing i highly recommend, is that every Allen set screw, you put blue loc tite on they tend to come loose after about 5 minutes of run time. put some loc tite on, and let it sit for a a few hours before you run it. Hope this helps

The best winch is the Urban Rider Pro Winch

Not cheap, but rock solid! Check it out and let me know if you need more info.
