Like Mike said. There are other threads on this forum, on other forums, and lots of info on the interwebs. His look like a great example. If you are not DIY inclined or simply do not have the time, I reccomend these Core racks. They are great solid wood racks at a good price. $80, and you are done. Double them up for $160. I grew up building and fixing everything, and tend to always want to build my own, but I do the math on projects. How much is my time worth, and how much do the materials cost? Is it a half day project or all day project? Multi-day because of paint, finishing or trim items, that require time to dry or set.

I've built fancy metal bar racks that hang real flush to the ceiling, that required heating and bending heavy gauge metal great for displaying longboards and vintage boards, and lots of stick and pvc wall racks. They are all great.

This was DIY project. Cost from Home Depot was $20.00 and about 1hr of labor. Had fun and is great for our snowboards, wakeboards, and surfboards.

^^^ Now, THERE is a guy that takes good care of his stuff. Look at all those cleaning products! Looks like those top boards aren't very easy to get to with just that 6' ladder.

With the boat in there you can access all boards. When the boat is not there, You can get to everything with the 6 foot ladder. The boards on the top are either older ones we don't use or special ones (pink top right, one off Arron Rathy's prototype board)

I use the little rubberized hooks you can get at just about any home improvement store. They are usually about $1 each.
