Where does everyone buy their box anchors at? I was going to pick mine up at slideachor.com but 45 bucks for shipping, give me a break.

Thanks.

I find it a little funny that you are appalled with paying for shipping when purchasing a metal anchor. That thing is heavy and probably not cheap to ship. Looks like it didn't take West Marine long to figure out how much money they were not making on the product.

Stoked to hear that Bakes has a good price on it. They are an awesome shop.

Shipping from slideanchor.com was only $13 for regular UPS. I think this is very reasonable considering the weight of this thing. I checked my local marine store first and they wanted $169 for a small and the quality didn't look as good as slideanchor's.

Anybody else get this brand?

Nobody else makes it but Slide Anchor or even a copy of. They have the galvanized and the polished stainless, you probably saw a galv at your local marine dealer. They all come with the bag so make sure to ask.

Ah, thanks for the information....I wasn't aware of that. Yes, the one I saw at my marine dealer was a galvanized version. I also ordered the galvanized version, which comes with a bag.

I ordered my stainless to West Marine. They had the best price I could find and they don't charge shipping if its delivered to a store.

I just ordered a galvanized version from West Marine. I took advantage of the free shipping deal that they have going on until the 13th.

^^^ That's the "baby" for $119. "Small", which is what you need for a 20-25' wakeboat is +$30 ($149).
